The Reference Scenario
For what should warpd be used? The reference scenario for warpd is the residential ADSL access. Usually, ADSL provides a low cost, always-on link to the Internet. Using a dynamic name service, the ADSL link with a DHCP based IP address, can also be used to host a server of some kind.The server
can be used to host some standard HTTP stuff, but also
to allow access to specific private information. For example, a
webcam can be used to check out the house; or you can remotely
control things attached to the internal house LAN.
